Still life with white jug. I was fascinated with the play of light on this little white jug. The challenge in painting it was that, as the jug is white, the hilight has to be, yes how shall I put it, whiter than white. I was able to pull it off by applying some thick paint in the hilight. The ridges of the paint then catch even more light than flat white paint.
